The Opening Flower

When the flower opened her petals to allow all to see the beauty that she could be, the wind came, and blew away all the parts of her that were meant to go. She at first resisted, then she realized the beautiful dance that ensued.

The flower opened her petals anew.
The world saw her for all her beauty.
Then came the wind,
It shook her fiercely.
And blew away all the parts of her that were meant to go.
At first, she resisted.
Then she realized that evolution was at hand.
The divine plan was always there.
And she became grateful for the wind and the change it brought.
She began to dance amongst the chaos,
Still beautiful, and richer for discovering her purpose.
